Ashes 2013

THE KIA OVAL HAS SOLD OUT ALL FIVE DAYS OF NEXT SUMMER’S FINAL INVESTEC ASHES TEST MATCH VERSUS AUSTRALIA.

The ground will host the climax of the Investec Ashes Test Series in a year that will see cricket move centre stage and dominate the sporting calendar.

The only available tickets for the match are now through Kia Oval Debentures, a range of hospitality packages or the ground’s Kennington Club. For more information on these options, please click here for match day hospitality or here for information on purchasing a Debenture.

Tickets originally went on sale to Members of Surrey CCC on Saturday November 10th with their priority window stretching until Sunday December 9th. The club also ran a ballot procedure to sell the remaining tickets, which attracted more than 45,000 entrants. Tickets to Day Five were also put on general release – at half price – with a full refund policy making the match fully accessible to all fans of English Cricket.

There is also a wide choice of other International cricket at the Kia Oval next summer. Fans can pick between the two NatWest Series T20 Internationals between England and New Zealand on Tuesday 25th or Thursday 27th June as well as any of the five matches the ground is staging during the ICC Champions Trophy – which includes England taking on Sri Lanka (Thursday June 13th) and the first semi-final (Wednesday June 19th). Tickets for all these matches are currently available by clicking here.

Richard Gould, Chief Executive of Surrey CCC said:

“After seeing the Ashes created here in 1882 and staging memorable victories in 2005 and 2009 we are really looking forward to next year’s game and hopefully helping England celebrate a third consecutive win over Australia on home soil.

“As well as our Investec Ashes Test Match, the ground is also staging seven other exciting International games next year – with U16 tickets for our two NatWest T20 Internationals available for just £1 – so there should be plenty of opportunity for everyone wanting to experience the atmosphere of a big match at the Kia Oval to come down at some stage throughout the year.

“With so much International cricket and the unveiling of the magnificent new frontage to our historic Members’ Pavilion – creating a ‘front door’ for the ground that will be one of the finest in world cricket – 2013 will be a hugely exciting year for everyone connected with both Surrey County Cricket Club and the Kia Oval.”
