6ft 7″ fast bowler Chris Tremlett was Chris Adams’ final signing of the 2009/10 off season and has completely rejuvenated his career at the Kia Oval.
His first team debut against Gloucestershire saw him take a brilliant 4/35 and since then he has gone from strength to strength.
His brilliant form during the 2010 season saw Tremlett returned to the England squad for the 2010/11 Ashes tour of Australia and – when called into the side for the third Test performed superbly, helping England retain the famous urn on enemy territory for the first time in over 20 years.
Since then, he has firmly established himself as one of the leading pace bowlers in the world and recently secured a full England Central Contract, meaning his Surrey appearances will limited – but keenly anticipated.
