Surrey’s reserve wicket keeper and a more than capable batsman, Gary Wilson will challenge for the top spot at all times.
A prolific run scorer in Second XI cricket, Wilson scored his maiden first-class century during a fine run of form in the middle of the 2010 season that also saw him score his first century for Ireland against Holland at Clontarf.
Away from the Kia Oval, he has established himself in the Ireland side at both first-class and One Day level and plays regularly in the ICC Intercontinental Cup as well as top flight events such as the ICC World Twenty20 in the West Indies and the recent ICC World Cup.
