A precocious fast bowling talent from Spencer CC in Battersea, George Edwards is just embarking on his first professional deal with Surrey.
A Second XI regular throughout 2010 and 2011, Edwards rapid pace is gaining more and more control and is capable of putting even the best batsmen under a great deal of pressure.
The PG Academy graduate played a part in a number of first-team squads towards the end of the 2011 campaign and will be eager to use his professional contract to push for a spot on the field.
