After joining the Club as a loan signing at the end of the 2010 season, Kevin Pietersen signed as a full time member of staff just three days before the beginning of the 2010/11 Ashes series.

One of the finest batsmen of his generation, Pietersen has the ability to dismember any attack in the world – as his performances at Test Match level have frequently shown. As Pietersen is under an ECB Central Contract, his appearances for the Club are limited – but any sign of him at the wicket in a Surrey shirt is sure to empty bars around the ground with immediate effect.
