The Surrey Masters have been impressing across the county throughout the summer – and will now be coming to the Kia Oval on Thursday September 3rd.
‘An Evening with the Surrey Masters’ will take place in the Long Room after play on the third day of Surrey’s LV= County Championship match with Derbyshire – and will give Members a chance to enjoy a relaxed evening in the company of two of the club’s most popular recent figures, David Ward and Keith Medlycott.
The pair played nearly 300 first-class matches for Surrey and scored over 10,000 runs –but it was their good humour and passion that endeared them to Surrey fans of the 1980s and 1990s. Medders was also the Head Coach who delivered the club seven trophies in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
