Robin Peterson signs for T20

Cricket - Fifth Natwest One Day International - England v South Africa - Trent Bridge

Surrey have named twelve a man squad for their opening NatWest T20 Blast South Division game against the Sussex Sharks at Hove this evening.

South African all rounder Robin Peterson comes straight into the squad after signing for the whole of the NatWest T20 Blast competition. Peterson has joined up with the squad and is available for this evening’s game.

Zafar Ansari is unavailable for this evening’s game due to the elbow injury he sustained in the Championship win against Gloucestershire and Gareth Batty is still recovering from his broken finger. Aneesh Kapil is named in a T20 squad for the first time.
