England wicket keeper Steven Davies joined Surrey from Worcestershire at the end of the 2009 season and has since become a vital part of the team in all formats.
At New Road he was earmarked as one for the future from a very young age and his elevation to full England honours at the age of just 23 underlined his status as one of the finest players in county cricket.
This is a reputation he has continued to bolster at Surrey, batting throughout the top and middle order and scoring over 1,000 first-class runs in both 2010 and 2011 as well as scoring twelve half centuries in CB40 and FLt20 cricket. Further to this, his wicket keeping has been of a consistently high standard and is constantly improving.
