Team Director Chris Adams has named a fifteen man squad for the Friends Life t20 game against the Kent Spitfires on Sunday.
Surrey go into the match at Beckenham off the back of two impressive wins against the Essex Eagles and the Middlesex Panthers which sees them sitting top of the South Group. The Kent Spitfires only game in the competition this year was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Jade Dernbach was added to the squad on Saturday afternoon after England made him available for the game against the Kent Spitfires. He will return to the England squad on Monday ahead of the second NatWest ODI at the Kia Oval on Tuesday.
Chris Adams commented: “We have made an excellent start to the campaign and what has really pleased me is the manner in which have forced ourselves into winning positions.
“The victories against Essex and Middlesex were real team performances and the exciting thing is we are yet to play to our full potential.
“This match against the Kent Spitfires will be another tough test but we are looking forward to the challenge on Sunday”.
