Booking at the Alcock Room
There is still space in the Alcock Restaurant for Members to enjoy a great meal on a match day at the Kia Oval.
Although it remains extremely popular, there is currently availability for every match of the 2019 season, including all days of the Specsavers Test Match against Australia.
The room was named in honour of Charles (C.W.) Alcock, the first ever paid Secretary of Surrey CCC, who is also a founding father of the Football Association and the man credited with inventing both the FA Cup and the concept of International football.
On domestic match days the restaurant offers a service from midday until 1.30pm and a late lunch serving from 2pm until 3.30pm, with a choice of starters and desserts offered alongside the traditional carvery option.
At the Test Match, service starts with a full English breakfast from 9am to 10.30am, with a glass of Bucks Fizz on arrival. Lunch is served over two sittings at 11.30am – 1pm and 1.30pm to 3pm. A glass of champagne will be served alongside a premium carvery lunch with a selection of starters and desserts. Tea is then served from 4pm.
During the Royal London One Day International, lunch is served from 12pm to 1.30pm and 2pm – 3.30pm. There is also an evening meal served from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, with the traditional carvery options.
Please Note: On County Championship match-days and 50 over match-days guests are allowed in the pavilion accompanied by a Member. On International and T20 days the Pavilion and the Restaurant is Members only.
