Surrey County Cricket Club has a successful Academy and Performance Programme

Its primary focus is to promote the highest quality of performance on an individual and team basis in order to develop cricketers to play for Surrey and England. Some of the cricketers to have emerged through the Surrey County Cricket Club Academy and Performance Programme in recent years include Rory Burns, Ollie Pope and Jason Roy.

The Performance Department is responsible for talent identification and development of young cricketers within Surrey.

Our department overseas Performance Courses, District Cricket, County Age Group (CAG) cricket from which the most talented of these cricketers progress into the Emerging Players Programme. Our best players are then selected into the Pemberton Greenish Surrey CCC Academy from which 13 graduates are currently part of Surrey’s County Cricket Club’s professional staff.
