Surrey seamer Jade Dernbach has been given permission to enter the 2014 IPL Auction.
The bowler has a clause in his current contract which allows him leave from the club to play in the IPL. He is currently in the final year of this deal.
Dernbach will be available to all franchises at the auction, which takes place in Bangalore on February 12th and 13th. If he is picked up by a franchise, he will be available from the start of the competition until May 13th.
Should he be selected, Dernbach will not be available for the first five matches of the season in the LV= County Championship.
Surrey batsman Kevin Pietersen has also been entered into the auction.
