FLt20 Tickets on General Sale

Tickets for this summer’s five Friends Life t20 matches at the Kia Oval have gone on general sale this morning via kiaoval.com.

With Rory Hamilton-Brown’s big hitting young side there will be no shortage of fireworks this summer when they welcome Essex, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent and Middlesex to Kennington in June and July.

Popular Australian left arm seamer Dirk Nannes – the leading wicket taker in the history of T20 cricket – has once again been attracted back to Surrey and will this year partner with Indian spinner Murali Kartik alongside Surrey’s young England stars Jade Dernbach, Steven Davies, Stuart Meaker, Jason Roy and Tom Maynard.

Depending on their commitments with England, Surrey could also welcome centrally contracted players Kevin Pietersen – who yesterday saw England home to a dramatic 2-1 T20 series victory over Pakistan – and Chris Tremlett into their exciting side.

The competition will play its full part in London’s amazing summer of sport. None of the fixtures clash with an England match at Euro 2012 and the games will be well out of the way before attention shifts eastward for the London Olympic Games in Stratford.

Surrey’s first fixture is on Wednesday June 13th against the Essex Eagles with the Hampshire Royals coming to London a week later on Wednesday June 20th. The first week of July is then a big week for Surrey with Sussex Sharks (Tuesday July 3rd), Kent Spitfires (Thursday July 5th) and Middlesex Panthers (Friday July 6th) all coming to the Kia Oval in the same week.

Single tickets for all matches are £20 for adults and just £1 for U16s although there are number of fantastic offers available from today onwards.

Fans wanting to see all three of Surrey’s matches against the ‘London Counties’ of Middlesex, Essex and Kent can buy the London Calling package for just £39, a huge saving of £21 on buying the matches individually.

Those wanting to head down to the Kia Oval with a group of ten, fifteen or twenty in tow can save £5 on every ticket online by all booking together. Fans coming with less of a round number – or bringing U16s in their group – can tailor their order by contacting the ticket office on 0844 375 1845 or via tickets@kiaoval.com.
