Job Overview
Working on varied cleaning tasks, as part of a friendly team. Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.
General Duties
- Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
- Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously
Tasks:
- Clean internal and external toilets
- Clean internal and external stairs and railings
- Hoover soft floorings and carpet
- High Dusting
- Internal and external windows
- Clean and polish hard floor areas
- Wash carpets
- Removal of stubborn stains
- Removal of any external animal excrement
- Sweep external ground area
- Clean water fountains, fire extinguishers and flower posts/display
- Empty bins and transport to compactor
Areas:
- 1845, Bedser Stand, Pavillion, External Concourse and stairways
Chemicals:
- Toilet Cleaner, Glass cleaner, Furniture polish, Bathroom cleaner, Brass polish
Equipment:
- Scrubber dryer, Road sweeper, Hoover, Buggy to transport waste disposal, Buffer machine, Compactor, Powerwash

- Ability to work as a team

- Good communicator
- Attention to detail / Pride in the work
- Hard working
- Reliable
- Must be over 18
