Salary and Benefits

 Fixed term (6-month contract)
Salary: £18,450 pro rata plus commission
23 days holiday; pro-rata
Non Contributory Pension scheme

The Role

A great opportunity for someone looking to gain sales experience within a fast-paced sporting environment.  The role will be part of a sales team within the Public Sales department responsible for sales across a number of Surrey and International match days.  The role will require:

  • Contacting previous Members’ to renew Membership prior to the start of the season
  • Driving T20 sales through communications with customers who have previously visited Surrey County Cricket Club
  • Exploring new markets and opportunities to bring about new relationships with the Club and develop group bookings
  • Using Venue Master software to process bookings and manage customer accounts

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following experience / skills / qualities:

  • Ability to quickly build professional, long term relationships with new and existing Surrey supporters
  • Strong ability to communicate with all levels of clients internally and externally both written and verbally
  • Proactive sales experience with the ability to work to strict pressured deadlines
  • Target focused and ability to hit monthly KPI’s
  • Computer literate and confident in MS Excel; Word and Outlook
