Surrey Academy have released their annual plan for the 2019 summer, designed to provide an overview of the Club’s Performance Department.
The document provides a vision, structure and the core valuesc for the coaches and players involved while stating that the purpose of the department remains to be the leading cricket club in producing cricketers for both Surrey and England.
With 16 of the current men’s professional squad having come through the system, Academy Director Gareth Townsend has overseen a highly successful period. Of those, eight have full international honours while Nat Sciver and Bryony Smith are England internationals who came through the women’s pathway.
