The Surrey Cricket Foundation Club Conference will take place on Saturday 17th March 2018 at the Kia Oval – and bookings are now open.
The conference will see a range of workshops and key note speeches delivered which will support the needs of the clubs across the county and the Order of Play is as follows:
9.15am–10am – Registration (England Suite)
10am–10.45am – Welcome and Conference Opening (Ashes Suite)
10.50am–11.35am – Workshop 1
11.35am–1.30pm – Lunch and Market Place (England Suite)
1.35pm–2.20pm – Workshop 2
2.25pm–2.45pm – Conference Close (Ashes Suite)
2.45pm – England vs Ireland (Ashes Suite)
The workshops are currently being development, but some of the titles confirmed so far include the below:
Player Retention – delivering effective transition for junior players into senior cricket
Clubmark – an update on the development of ECB’s Clubmark and Club Development Systems
Funding – find out the latest information about what funding is available to your club
Surrey Grounds Support Network – supporting clubs with volunteer grounds people
All Stars Cricket – learn how clubs have embraced the new scheme and maximised its impact
GDPR – all you need to know about the new Data Protection laws coming in 2018
Insurance – how to ensure your club is secure in the current climate
In addition there will be a market place in operation, as in previous years, with a range of relevant companies showcasing their products and services to those in attendance.
