Surrey Women & Stars all-rounder Bryony Smith has been called into the England Women squad for the final Royal London One-Day International with the West Indies.
Her Surrey Stars captain Nat Sciver will be rested for the match which will be played at Chelmsford on Thursday 13th June. England are already 2-0 up in the three-match series after victories in Leicester & Worcester.
Smith, who signed her first full-time England contract in February, was in fine form for Surrey in this year’s Women’s County Championship scoring 347 runs in just six innings and taking eight wickets with her off-spin.
She could now be in line to make her 50-over debut for England having played three IT20s, her only international appearances to date, back in March 2018.
21-year-old Smith will join her Surrey Stars teammates Laura Marsh & Sarah Taylor in the squad.
