Surrey County Cricket Club Chief Executive Richard Gould has outlined the Club’s standpoint on a number of key issues in the game in a full-length interview with journalist Adam Collins.
After a 2019 season in which Surrey struggled for form on the pitch but The Kia Oval was placed on the world stage more than ever before in its illustrious history, Gould reflects on the challenges that have passed and addresses the huge support enjoyed by the Club.
This is also an opportunity to look to the future and Gould clarifies Surrey’s feelings towards the future of the women’s county game, its stance on The Hundred and why The Kia Oval is in need of the redevelopment process currently underway on the Lock Laker Stand.
