The Kia Oval has sold out the first three days of next summer’s Test Match between England and the West Indies.
No tickets remain for the first, second and third days of play for the first Test of the English summer, played between 4 – 8 June, while there is good availability for both the fourth and fifth days. Tickets also remain for September’s One-Day International with Ireland.
This follows the exclusive two-week sales window for Surrey Members, in which an equal number of tickets were bought. Surrey currently have over 11,000 Members and are well on course to enjoy record Membership numbers for a fifth straight year.
The Test Match is the West Indies’ first red-ball visit to The Kia Oval since 2004 and will bring back memories of some of the ground’s greatest Tests, including the iconic West Indian victories over England in 1976 and 1984. The One Day International sees Ireland play at the historic ground for the first time.
Charlie Hodgson, Managing Director of The Kia Oval, said: “The record-breaking demand for tickets next summer underscores the immense of popularity of Test cricket in this country – and the Kia Oval’s reputation as one of the finest grounds in the world.”
Ballot winners who are yet to claim tickets for the remaining days of international cricket at The Kia Oval can book online here. Any tickets remaining following the closure of the ballot window will be released to the general public in due course, with a prior announcement across our channels.
