Adam Hollioake – recently voted by fans as captain of the Club’s all-time XI – is launching a series of special ‘Legends Tours’ to help celebrate Surrey County Cricket Club’s 175th anniversary this year.
Hollioake is joining a tour at 2.30pm on Saturday March 7th, giving a small group of lucky fans the chance to look behind the scenes at The Kia Oval alongside one of the most successful captains in Surrey history.
Tickets cost just £30 for adults, £27 for seniors and £10 for U16s – with a family of four able to attend for just £70. Click here to book your place. With a very limited number of places, fans are urged to book quickly to avoid disappointment.
The tour will be led by an experienced Oval tour guide, with Hollioake adding insights, stories and memories from his superb Surrey career. The afternoon will end with a special Q+A session, ensuring everyone gets the opportunity to ask Adam about his time at the Club.
Surrey are currently working with other former players to roll out further ‘Legends Tours’ over the summer, with further announcements due over coming months.
During his time at the helm Hollioake led Surrey to three County Championship titles as well as numerous white ball trophies, including the inaugural Twenty20 Cup in 2003. After embarking on a second professional career, in fight sports, Hollioake has returned to cricket and is now assistant coach of the Queensland Bulls in Australian domestic cricket.
To start the 175th anniversary celebrations, Surrey fans recently voted for their ‘Greatest XI’, with Hollioake being included by over half the voters, who also overwhelmingly agreed that he should captain the side.
