Although the season may still be three months away, Surrey CCC Members can remain fully involved throughout the year with a series of fantastic Members’ Events.
Starting in January with a free wine tasting in the Long Room that allows Surrey Members to select the wine sold in the Pavilion throughout the 2014 season, the 2014 programme also includes the now traditional Surrey CCC Beer Festival, the Sir Alec Bedser Eve of Test Match Lunch and three Members’ Forums throughout the season, giving Members the chance to quiz Surrey coaches and players.

16th – MEMBERS’ WINE TASTING
The club would like to welcome its members’ to a free wine tasting on Thursday 16th January. The event will give members’ the opportunity to select the wine that will be readily available in the Pavilion throughout 2014. The event is free to attend and will take place in the historic Long Room, commencing at 18:00.
Numbers will be limited therefore members much register their attendance online or through the ticket office by calling 0844 375 1845.
20th – MEMBERS’ SUPPER
A Members’ Supper will take place on the evening of Thursday 20th February in the Alcock Room, giving a chance for members to meet up and look ahead to the 2014 cricket season.
Supper will be served at 19:00, with the Pavilion and bar open from 18:00. Tickets cost £17.50 and include a carvery and a dessert.

24th – MEMBERS’ PRE-SEASON LUNCH
The annual pre-season lunch, attended by players and coaches, will be staged on Monday March 24th. Further details, including the cost and booking details, will be announced closer to the time.
8th – NEW MEMBERS’ WELCOME EVENT
Staged after the third day of Surrey’s opening LV= County Championship match against Glamorgan at the Kia Oval, this event will give new members for 2013 the chance to meet each other and get a tour of the Pavilion facilities.
20th – EASTER FUNDAY
Staged on Easter Sunday, day one of Surrey’s second match of the season in the LV= County Championship, against Essex, this event will give fun for all the family alongside a great day at the cricket.
24th – ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Staged slightly later than normal in 2014 due to a change in the end of the club’s financial year, this event will give members the chance to vote on the make-up of General Committee, hear from the club Chairman, Chief Executive and Treasurer and question Surrey coaching staff and players at the first Members’ Forum of the season.
JUNE & JULY 2014
2nd – MEMBERS’ FORUM
The second Members’ Forum of the year will give members the chance to speak to Surrey coaches and players and ask questions about the season so far after day two of Surrey’s LV= County Championship match with Worcestershire.
28th June – 1st July – SURREY CCC BEER FESTIVAL
A popular annual event returns during Surrey’s LV= County Championship clash with Hampshire. Showcasing a wide range of beers and ciders brewed within London and further afield around the UK the festival will run for all four days of the match.
5th – MEMBERS’ FORUM
On the same day as Surrey’s Royal London County Cup game with Kent, this is another opportunity for members to quiz Surrey coaches and players on the outcome of the season so far.
14th – SIR ALEC BEDSER EVE OF TEST MATCH LUNCH
The annual Sir Alec Bedser Eve of Test Match Lunch is a high profile event in the club’s calendar and is available to members’ at a reduced price of £99+VAT per person.
Previous events have been addressed by Richie Benaud and Sir John Major and, with the visit of India in 2014, Surrey are honoured to welcome Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar to make the address, introduced by Club President Sir Trevor McDonald.
15th – END OF SEASON AWARDS
