Members’ Lounge Suspended For World Cup

The Members’ Lounge day facilities in the Alcock Room at the Kia Oval will be suspended from Friday May 24th until Friday June 14th.

This is due to the ground’s participation in the ICC Cricket World Cup, with five matches and two warm ups taking place at The Oval during that time.

Facilities will re-open on Monday June 16th, after the ground’s final match in the competition, Sri Lanka v Australia on Saturday June 15th.

Members’ Lounge

Earlier this year, the Alcock Room was opened from Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4pm and offers a daily lunch menu as well as well as high speed wi-fi and a relaxed area for members. It will continue to operate as a Members’ Restaurant on all match days.

From 12pm to 2.30pm it offers lunch with hot food including vegetarian options, full sides and an accompanying salad bar available, priced at £10 per head. Hot and cold drinks are available at all times, priced at Members’ regular rates.

Members wanting to use the room should arrive at the John Edrich Gate at the Pavilion End, where they will be required to show their Membership Card, before being given access to the Pavilion. All Members are also be entitled to invite a guest in to join them on all non match-days.
