Frequently Asked Questions about how you can watch Surrey Cricket play live at The Kia Oval on Facebook and kiaoval.com.
How can I watch Surrey home matches this year?
All matches at the Kia Oval will be broadcast live on Facebook Watch and the official Surrey CCC website, kiaoval.com. To tune in, simply go to the Surrey Facebook page or search ‘Surrey Cricket’ on Facebook.
Can I watch matches if I don’t have a Facebook account?
Yes. Simply go to kiaoval.com and watch the live feed that will be available on the front page of the website.
What will the coverage look like?
Every game will be covered by a multi-camera setup, featuring a ball following manned camera for the first time. Other cameras have been upgraded from previous years.
Will there be commentary?
Yes. Commentary will be provided by BBC London’s Mark Church alongside a variety of summarisers and commentators from other BBC networks, including the indomitable Johhny Barran.
Can I watch the matches on TV?
Yes. If you have a Smart TV or Xbox, simply download the Facebook Watch app, login using your regular Facebook account and find the game there.
The app is available for free on Facebook’s mobile apps for Apple and Android, on desktop, laptop and on TV apps listed HERE. If the Facebook Watch app is not available or you don’t have a Smart TV, you may still be able to ‘cast’ the coverage onto your TV via Google Chromecast or other similar services.
Will the commentary still be broadcast on the radio?
Yes. BBC London will continue to broadcast coverage of all competitive games in the normal way.
Where can I watch highlights?
A full highlights package will be available shortly after play has finished on the Surrey CCC Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages. Regular coverage will be posted throughout the day on the Club Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds.
