Surrey Stars Announce 15 Strong KSL Squad

Nat Sciver will lead a squad of 15 as Surrey Stars go for Kia Super League glory in the third year of the flagship domestic T20 competition.

Sciver is joined by England teammates wicket keeper Sarah Taylor, spinner Laura Marsh and powerful batsman Bryony Smith.

The three internationals in Stars’ squad are all stars of the current South African team with opening bat Lizelle Lee and all-rounder Marizanne Kapp, who both played for the Stars in 2017, joined by their international captain Dane van Niekerk.

Surrey Women players Aylish Cranstone, Eva Gray, wicket keeper Rhianna Southby and captain Hannah Jones are also in the squad.

The remaining players involved are Middlesex Women Sophia Dunkley and Gayatri Gole, Kent Women’s player Grace Gibbs and Essex Women’s Mady Villiers.

Surrey Stars will play ten group matches in this year’s Kia Super League with five home matches, including two at the Kia Oval.
