Surrey Women have named a squad of 13 players to take on Middlesex in the ECB Vitality T20 competition at Old Whitgiftians CC on Sunday 16th May.
Hannah Jones’ side have seen a mixed start to the season with three victories and three defeats so far, an identical record with four of the six teams in the group. Kent sit above those four with six victories and Essex below them with six defeats.
As well as playing for the points at stake in this competition, the two sides will be hoping to put a marker down ahead of the London Cup at Radlett CC on the 23rd June. Surrey are the holders of that after a thriller at The Kia Oval in July 2020.
Bryony Smith will not feature for Surrey as her workload is managed ahead of a busy summer with Surrey, South East Stars, Oval Invincibles and England.
