Surrey’s Tom Curran will represent Sydney Sixers in the next three editions of the Big Bash League in Australia.
Curran has played a significant role in helping the Sixers secure a spot in the BBL I 08 Semi-Finals and will now feature for the Sixers in BBL I 09,10 & 11.
A fan favourite with the Magenta faithful, Curran has played every match of the BBL I 08 group stages, taking 20 wickets, including fiqures of 3/16 against Brisbane Heat.
Curran’s fearless batting has also been hugely entertaining for Sixers supporters to watch, with the 23-year-old hitting 185 runs this summer.
Curran will be unavailable for the Sixers Semi-Final clash against Melbourne Renegades having been selected for England’s One-Day series against West Indies.
Fellow England international Joe Denly commented: “No one works harder on their game than Tom.”
