Unchanged Squad for Edgbaston Trip

Surrey-Squad-2017

Published: 20th April, 2017

Surrey have once again named an unchanged 13-man squad for this weekend’s Specsavers County Championship game with Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

With a win and a draw in the first two matches of the campaign, the club are currently sitting at the top of Division One and are looking to solidify that position going into a month long block of white ball, fifty over cricket.

The last match, against Lancashire at the Kia Oval, saw seamers Jade Dernbach and Stuart Meaker miss out – with all-rounder Zafar Ansari brought in to make his first County Championship start of 2017. The first game of the season saw Ansari and Meaker not selected, with Dernbach forming a four man seam attack alongside Mark Footitt, Tom and Sam Curran.
