Surrey CCC have agreed a deal for Unibet to become the club’s official betting partner for the 2017 season.
A brand new commercial partner for the club, Surrey fans will soon be able to enjoy entertaining new videos and social media activity created by the club in partnership with Unibet – as well the ability to bet online with Unibet whilst at the Kia Oval.
The partnership with the Surrey CCC and the Kia Oval is the latest in a series of elite sponsorships undertaken by Unibet, who are also currently the official betting partner to the Investec Derby and three of the biggest televised PDC darts events of the year.
Charlie Hodgson, Surrey CCC Commercial Director, said: “The club are delighted to have agreed a tie up with Unibet, one of the most exciting betting companies in the country.
“They are well known for their fantastic use of social media and we’re all excited to get to work together, helping grow the support of Surrey CCC and to create entertaining content for all our fans to enjoy.”
Sam Mead, Head of Marketing for Unibet UK said: “Unibet are delighted to be the Official Betting Partner of Surrey County Cricket Club and the Kia Oval for 2017. The club have an illustrious history and heritage and we are looking forward to working closely with the club during the next few months.
“So many great cricketers have played at the iconic Kia Oval for club and country since that very first England International Test match in 1880 and we welcome the opportunity to be associated with such an iconic venue.
“Cricket remains a popular sport on which to bet, and the considerable exposure that Surrey and the Kia Oval receive over the summer will ensure the Unibet brand resonates with those who enjoy a wager on the sport, while it also enables our ever-growing social media followers and content teams access to some great content.
“It is a really exciting addition to our UK portfolio of sponsorships and partnerships which include being the Official Betting Partner to the Investec Derby as well as sponsor to three of the biggest darts televised PDC events of the year including the Unibet Masters.”
