60 Surrey CCC Members came to the Kia Oval last week for the first Members’ Event of the year – a wine tasting to choose the 2014 Pavilion Wine Selection.
With over 30 wines to taste from eight different countries, the free event was a great start to the year and a chance for Surrey members to set foot inside their Pavilion for the first time in 2014.
Wines selected by the Members will now be made available throughout the summer in bars throughout the Pavilion. Read down for the top selections from the night.
Surrey staff member Rohanna Burrow, who organised the event, said: “It was fantastic to see so many members so early in the year! Some of the most frequent comments we had last year were about the wine in the Pavilion so we wanted to make sure our Members got to choose what they would be enjoying with the cricket this summer – we’re really pleased that so many took us up on the opportunity.”
