Schools-Day-2013

Please see the below list of events at the Kia Oval in 2019:

February

28th- Members’ Evening Forum

Starting at 6pm, the free event will give Surrey Members the chance to hear from coaches and players as well as Surrey CCC Chief Executive Richard Gould.

Members will be able to ask questions about all aspects of club business and wider cricket – as well as taking the time to come back to the ground and see some familiar faces ahead of the start of the new season two months later.

To allow the club to have an idea of numbers, Members are asked to register their attendance here.

April

1st – Members’ Pre-Season Lunch

Staged in the Alcock Restaurant in the heart of the Members’ Pavilion, the pre-season lunch gives Members a chance to come together and anticipate the impending start of the season – with Surrey’s first game only just over a week away against Essex. Chief Executive Richard Gould will give an update on the club’s winter progress followed by the opportunity to rub shoulders and ask questions to members of the playing squad.

12th – Pride of Lions Day

Pride of Lions Members – Surrey County Cricket Club’s membership for U16s – are welcomed to the Kia Oval for a fun-filled day of cricketing activity. Alongside watching the players train, young fans can benefit from coaching by Surrey coaches, as well as a behind-the-scenes tour of the famous ground.

Members are invited to attend a Breakfast Forum. The forum will take place at the Vauxhall End of the ground and there will be selection of breakfast options available free of charge, as well as tea and coffee. This will be followed by a Q&A session with Surrey Chief Executive Richard Gould as well as a guest from the Surrey coaching and playing staff.

The show will feature former cast members from the West End production of We Will Rock You performing dozens of hits from their astonishing back catalogue.

The show will take place on the outfield in front of the new Guildford Cricket Club Pavilion, that was officially opened last year after a funding partnership was formed between Guildford Borough Council, Surrey County Cricket Club and Guildford Cricket Club.

Tickets for An Evening of Queen are £28, and are available to buy now by clicking here.
