Squad named for Essex game

Surrey have named a twelve man squad for their LV=County Championship match against Essex starting on Sunday at the Kia Oval.

Jade Dernbach comes into the squad for the first time this season having been rested for the opening game of the summer against Glamorgan under instruction from the ECB.

Surrey lost their opening match of the LV=County Championship campaign against Glamorgan by ten wickets. Essex arrive at the Kia Oval having beaten Derbyshire by 53 runs in their opening game of the season.

The Surrey squad to play Essex in the LV=County Championship at the Kia Oval on Sunday 20th April, Monday 21st April, Tuesday 22nd April  and Wednesday 23rd April:

Vikram Solanki is currently not with the Surrey squad due to family reasons which are of a private nature.

Each day’s play starts at 11am and gates will open at 10am.

Tickets are £12 for adults and £1 for under 16’s.

A match report of each day’s play will be available on kiaoval.com. Highlights of each day will be available the following morning on Surrey TV, the Surrey Cricket Vimeo page and the Surrey Cricket YouTube page.
