Young left arm spinner Freddie van den Bergh has recently graduated from Durham University and is now focusing on developing his cricketing aspirations.

Having recently experienced a long Australian summer at the Darren Lehmann Academy in Adelaide, van den Bergh will hope to make the most of any opportunities that come his way.

A Second XI and Durham MCCU regular for the past few years, van den Bergh is now looking to carve out a regular place at the highest echelon of the county game.

Earlier in his career, Freddie was supported by the Brian Johnston Memorial Trust through the BJMT Elite Spin Bowling Programme.
