The Kia Oval has seen a record number of tickets sold on the first day of the ballot, with fans snapping up over 47,000 tickets for the Test Match against New Zealand and the ODI against Sri Lanka – this surpassed the sales for the 2019 Ashes, the previous record. Days 1-3 of the Test Match are now sold out, with limited availability for the remaining days of men’s international cricket.
Now that the priority sales windows for Members and ballot winners are complete, tickets for all international and domestic fixtures in south London will go on sale for everyone starting tomorrow (Tues 9 Dec). While the first three days of the Test are sold out, hospitality areas are still up for grabs.
The demand to experience international cricket at the Kia Oval is soaring higher than anywhere else in the country – one out of every four tickets sold for England men’s 2026 fixtures is for a match in south London. The People’s Home of Cricket is also the best-selling ground for any white-ball international next summer in England and Wales.
New for 2025, Members and ballot winners also had the chance to get their seats for the incredibly popular men’s London Derby (Weds 3 June) as Surrey take on their old rivals Middlesex at the Kia Oval, and the fan-favourite fixture at the Home of T20 Cricket is already selling fast! From tomorrow, everyone will also have the opportunity to buy their tickets for the London Derby as well as other home Vitality Blast matches at a Super Early Bird price.
2026 will see New Zealand go up against England in a men’s Test (Weds 17 – Sun 21 June) for the first time in the 21st century at the Kia Oval, before the curtain falls on the international home summer in south London when the Three Lions face Sri Lanka in a men’s ODI (Sun 27 Sep).
South London will also take centre stage for both the semi-finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup (Tues 30 June & Thurs 2 July), as well as England’s last group game against defending champions New Zealand (Sat 27 June).
Alongside the internationals, the biggest party in cricket will be returning to the Kia Oval when the Vitality Blast kicks off in south London. Both Surrey teams will begin their T20 campaign with a bumper double header against Lancashire at home on Fri 22 May – the first of five double headers in SE11. The Kia Oval will also take the spotlight for the Women’s Finals Day next year on Fri, 17 July, following the success of the inaugural showpiece event in 2025.
Ahead of the start of the Vitality Blast, the 2026 home summer will take off with Rory Burns’s Surrey facing the newly promoted Leicestershire in the Rothesay County Championship from Fri, 10 Apr. Fans will see Bryony Smith’s side in south London for the first time next summer when they play Tier One’s newest team, Yorkshire, on Weds 15 Apr. The Yorkshire match will be the first of six women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup matches played at the Kia Oval.
