Some events may require Members’ to purchase tickets or register attendance. Please note for some events, non Members’ prices are available in order for Members to invite guests.

January 2016

21st January – Surrey CCC Roadshow at Ashtead Cricket Club

Surrey CCC would like to invite Members to Ashtead Cricket Club for the first Roadshow event of 2016.  The evening will revolve around a Q&A with CEO Richard Gould, The Surrey Cricket Foundation and a first team player or coach. This will also be an opportunity to watch “The Final Test” a film produced by the club, which charts the 135 year history (so far!) of Test cricket in Kennington. Starting with the first ever Test played in this country and going all the way through to the present, it looks at some of the great cricketing moments to take place at The Oval – speaking to many of the most famous participants in exclusive new interviews. The Ticketing and Membership team will also be present to answer any questions ahead of the 2016 season.

22nd March – Beer and Wine Tasting

Surrey CCC would like to invite Members to join our Beer and Wine tasting event.  Members will be able to taste the new beers and wines available for 2016 as well as enjoy the fantastic view from the Alcock Restaurant.  This will also be an opportunity to vote on the guest beer to be stocked in the Pavilion for the 2016 season.

April 2016

 6th April – Pre-Season Lunch

The annual Members Pre Season Lunch is a great way to socialise with fellow member’s before the season gets under way. The lunch involves a two course meal and the effervescent Mark Church will be hosting a Q&A session with Surrey players and coaching staff. The lunch takes place in the Alcock Room, meal options will be confirmed as soon as possible.

 21st April – Wisden Cricketers Almanack Launch

Surrey CCC are hosting the launch of the Wisden Cricketers Almanack 2016.  Held in the Long Room, author Lawrence Booth will discuss the new book as well as host a Q&A with the audience. There will also be a second-hand book sale for those who wish to purchase used cricket books in exchange for a small donation with all proceeds going towards our supported charity.

 21st April – Annual General Meeting

The AGM will take place in the England Suite this year and will update Members on the continuing developments of the club.  Members are able to turn up, free of charge and enjoy an evening in one of our luxury suites.  Food and drink will be provided.

 24th April – New Member’s Event

During SCCC’s first 2016 LV = County Championship home game against Somerset, Surrey CCC host the ‘New Members Welcome Event’. The event welcomes all new Members’ into the Pavilion for tea and coffee during the day’s play. With the opportunity to meet the Chief Executive and Membership staff, members are provided with information regarding the Club’s history, facilities and much more.  Members are also given the chance to ask a member of staff any questions they have regarding their membership.

May 2016

17th May – Schools Day

SCCC welcomes all schools from London and Surrey to the Kia Oval during the LV = County Championship fixture against Middlesex. Last year we welcomed over 5,000 children to the Kia Oval where we hosted an array of activities such as player autograph signings, coaching, tours of the stadium, the Vauxhall city farm, bouncy castles and much more.

June 2016

 8th June – Member’s Lunch Forum

Member’s are invited to attend a lunch forum during the Royal London One Day fixture against Somerset. The forum will involve a Q&A with CEO Richard Gould as well as  The forum takes place in one of our exclusive rooms where there will be selection of lunch provided.

 19th-22nd June – Beer Festival

This year’s Beer Festival will take place over 4 days during the LV=County Championship Cricket Match vs. Nottinghamshire, starting on Sunday 19th June.

Over 50 real ales and ciders will be available, acoustic music, garden games, pop up food market plus much more. The event will take place on all four days and to attend you simply need a ticket for the match. Surrey CCC Members gain FREE entry with their Membership Cards.

July 2016

12th July – An Evening with the Surrey Masters

The Surrey Masters have been impressing across the county throughout the summer – and will now be coming to the Kia Oval on Tuesday 12th July.

‘An Evening with the Surrey Masters’ will take place in the Long Room after play on the second day of Surrey’s LV= County Championship match with Yorkshire – and will give Members a chance to enjoy a relaxed evening in the company of some of the club’s most popular recent figures.

August 2016

 1st August – Family Day

Family day is a fun filled day for families of all ages.  Fun activities and exciting opportunities will be available for all, watch this space for more information.

23rd August – Member’s Quiz Night

An evening quiz hosted in the Long Room with questions on a variety of topics with a sprinkling of Surrey Cricket thrown in. Team’s must be no bigger than six.  The Ali Brown bar will be open and there will be food available to purchase throughout the evening.

24th August – Members Breakfast Forum

Members are invited to attend a breakfast forum prior to the second day of the Lancashire County Championship match. The forum takes place in one of our exclusive rooms from 9.30am where there will be selection of breakfast options as well as tea and coffee.
