THIS PAGE PROVIDES ALL OF THE KEY INFORMATION THAT MEMBERS OF SURREY COUNTY CRICKET CLUB MAY NEED BEFORE ATTENDING A MATCH DAY AT THE KIA OVAL.

OUR NEXT MATCH DAY
Friday nights at the Kia Oval are back as Bryony Smith’s Surrey, who will be playing the Women’s Vitality Blast final in south London on Sunday 27 July, go against Birmingham Bears in their last T20 group game of the season.
Gates open at 5:30 pm, with the match starting at 6:30 pm.
Tickets are still available for the match.
Match-specific Information
BAG SEARCH
There will be heightened security in place for this match-day. Spectators are advised to be prepared for bag searches taking place outside the gates prior to their entry into the ground. As this is a ‘Category A’ fixture, spectators are NOT permitted to bring alcohol into the ground from outside.
HOW CAN I KEEP UP WITH THE MATCH?
The match will be broadcast live on Surrey’s YouTube channel, with a link posted on the Surrey Match Centre and social media channels.
Surrey Cricket’s social media channels will provide live updates from the Kia Oval, with clips and highlights posted throughout the day. A written report and highlights will be available at the end of the match. The ‘Oval & Out’ podcast will be posted on Surrey’s YouTube channel after the conclusion of the game.
PITCH LOCATION
The match will be played on Pitch 7, which is towards the Tenison Gap side of the ground.
Members' Entrance & Members' Areas
ENTRANCE VIA CLUB SHOP
New for 2025, Members who wish to sit in the SSE Energy Solutions Stand, Laker Balcony or Lock Balcony, can enter the ground from a dedicated Members’ entrance via the Club Shop for a speedy entrance.
MEMBERS’ AREAS
Members can still enter the ground from all other entrances while Members’ exclusive areas are the same as last season – Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion, Peter May Gardens, Laker Balcony and Lock Balcony.
A small number of seats in the Lock and Laker balconies will be cordoned off and unavailable for this fixture due to ongoing repair work.
Members cannot invite guests to exclusive areas for Vitality Blast T20s.

Getting to the Kia Oval
The Kia Oval is easily accessible via several modes of transport and is within easy walking distance from a number of Tube stations. For more information, please view our match-day guide.
Please note, for major match days such as Vitality Blast and internationals, Members and spectators cannot store their bikes in the ground. For County Championship and One Day Cup matches, there is limited bike parking available for spectators inside the venue by both Hobbs Gate and Alec Stewart Gate, in the form of bike racks. This is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

REPORTING DISCRIMINATION
We stand against discrimination in all its forms and are committed to ensuring that cricket is a game for everyone.
If you have experienced or witnessed discrimination, you can report it to the Club here. On matchdays, this will then be shared directly with our Match Control Room.
Alongside bringing the incident to the attention of our Match Control Room, we also advise you to report it to the Club at equality@surreycricket.com and/or through the ECB’s website here. Any reports will then be triaged by the ECB and investigated by the relevant cricket organisation.

ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AT THE KIA OVAL
Anti-social behaviour is not tolerated at the Kia Oval. This includes the use of discriminatory language, the throwing of cups or building large stacks of cups – anyone who takes part in such behaviour will be ejected from the ground and banned from returning in future. If you see any anti-social behaviour, please report it via the Kia Oval App or https://www.kiaoval.com/report/.
Food & Drink
Try out the newly opened Crispy Wicket shop for some delicious fried chicken as well as a range of other items. Sandwiches and gluten-free food options will also be served at Nip Back Inn.
A wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase under the SSE Energy Solutions Stand. Water fountains are also located around the ground for spectator to fill their cups or bottles.
In the Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion, the Alcock Room, the Long Room café and bar, and the Ali Brown bar will be open for food and drink during this fixture.
An ice cream truck and a coffee van will be present in the ground as well.

The Kia Oval is a cashless venue and only card payment will be taken.
As this is a Vitality Blast match-day, supporters are NOT permitted to bring their own alcohol, metal cutlery or glass into the ground. Fans are still welcome to bring their own food into the ground.
Members and fans are welcome to bring food into the ground on match days.
Spectators are requested not to move around and leave their seats during an ongoing over.

SENSORY ROOM
The Sensory Rooms at Surrey County Cricket Club offer a calming and therapeutic space for visitors with sensory needs.
For those individuals who require the use of our Sensory Room, please speak to the nearest steward, or visit us at the Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion reception and a member of the team will assist.
For this fixture, the adult Sensory Room will be located in Bedser Box 25, and the child-friendly Sensory Room will be located in Bedser Box 24.
PYROTECHNICS
Pyrotechnics are deployed for Vitality Blast and The Hundred fixtures, and may feature bright lights and smoke.
Venue Opening Times
Domestic Match-days:
Gates open 1 hour before the first ball for all domestic fixtures including County Championship, Vitality Blast and One Day Cup. Specific start times for each competition vary by fixture and will be communicated to all Members ahead of time. Start times can also be viewed on our fixture list here.
International Match-days:
Gates open 2 hours before the first ball for all international fixtures including Men’s Test Match and ODI and Women’s IT20. Specific start times for each competition vary by fixture and will be communicated to all Members ahead of time. Start times can also be viewed on our fixture list here.
Match Day Entry
The women’s IT20 between England and India is a ticketed fixture and Members will not be able to gain entry to the ground if they do not have a ticket. For Members who see the IT20 on their NFC pass but have not bought a ticket to the match, please disregard the pop-up notification on your phone.

On domestic match days for which their Membership allows access, Members can enter the ground by scanning their physical or digital Membership card at the point of entry.
As Members’ Areas on domestic match days offer unreserved seating, Members can enter the ground at either the Hobbs Gate (Oval end) or the Alec Stewart Gate (Vauxhall end). New for this fixture, Members can now enter the ground through the external entrance to the Club Shop.
Members can bring guests using the guest vouchers allocated to them as part of their Membership. For more information as to how to assign your guest vouchers, please click here. Guest vouchers are not available for Vitality Blast or The Hundred matches.
Scanning Your Membership Card
For 2025, all Members entering Members’ Areas, including Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion, Peter May Garden, Lock Balcony and Laker Balcony, will have to scan their Membership Card and again when exiting. This will be implemented across all of Surrey’s home domestic fixtures in order to ensure we have an accurate breakdown of attendance within the Members’ Areas. This information will enable us to ensure we are offering the very best service in the Members’ Areas, and they do not go beyond capacity.
Seat Information
Members’ seating is unreserved at the Kia Oval and Members are permitted to sit anywhere within Members’ Areas. This applies to County Championship and One Day Cup fixtures.
Members’ Areas include the Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion, Peter May Garden, Laker Balcony, and Lock Balcony. All areas are subject to availability and you may be directed to other Members’ Areas should an area reach capacity. This applies to Vitality Blast T20 and The Hundred fixtures.
If seats are covered with a purple accessibility bib, please do not move them as these seats have specifically been reserved for Members with accessible needs. Should you wish to sit in these seats, please speak to one of our Accessibility team, or come to the Pavilion Reception and speak to a member of staff.
Members are reminded to please not leave their bags unattended.
Members’ Restaurant – The 175 Suite
The 175 Suite is an exclusive restaurant available to Members of Surrey County Cricket Club and can be found on the first floor of the SSE Energy Solutions Stand. The 175 Suite offers a classic three-course a-la-carte menu and a fantastic view of the Kia Oval’s hallowed turf. The restaurant is open on every Rothesay County Championship (Days 1-3) and Metro Bank One-Day Cup match day and is available to book online. The restaurant is also open during this year’s Test Match, where breakfast will be available to book as well as lunch and afternoon tea. The restaurant is not open during Vitality Blast or The Hundred.
Members are permitted to bring up to four guests for domestic fixtures, but on international match days, the restaurant is for Members only. Full terms and conditions for the Members’ Restaurant can be found here.
For domestic fixtures, Lunch at the Members’ Restaurant can be booked for £40 pp.
For international fixtures, Breakfast can be booked for £22 pp, Lunch for £75 pp and Sparkling Afternoon Tea for £35 pp.
The 175 Suite has proven extremely popular with Members in the past, so to avoid disappointment, please book early.

For Vitality Blast, please estimate 1.5 hours for each innings, with a ten minute interval.

What You Can Bring
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has implemented a ban on the importation of alcohol, glass containers and metal cans. Following close consultation with the Police and Health and Safety advisors, alcohol will not be permitted on the following match-days: Test Match, One-Day International, Vitality Blast and The Hundred.
For other match-days, such as Rothesay County Championship and Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures, alcohol importation is restricted to a maximum of four 500ml cans of beer/lager or a 750ml plastic container of wine per person. No further alcohol will be permitted on any subsequent re-admission to the ground.
Members and fans are also welcome to bring food into the ground on match-days.
Lifesaver: If you are running out of charge, look out for Lifesaver power banks as there are multiple charging locations around the venue to charge your device.
Club Shop
The Surrey County Cricket Club Shop is located in the SSE Energy Solutions Stand and can be accessed from the concourse level.
Members receive 10% discount on any purchase in any of the Club Shops when they show their Membership card at the point of purchase.

Catch a 6 and win £1,000 with the Kia Catch.
Only applicable on a Vitality Blast match-day, this competition allows any ticket-holding attendee at a T20 game at the Kia Oval in 2025, the opportunity to win £1000 cash when catching a straight 6, a so-called ‘Kia Catch’. For full terms and conditions, please click here.
KIA HIGH CATCH
The Kia High Catch is the interval entertainment at the Kia Oval during Vitality Blast double headers and men’s match days. Six tennis balls will be fired off the top floor of the JM Finn Stand and the participant, down on the outfield, will win a prize for every catch they make. THATCHERS GUESS THE SCORE
You can win the Thatchers’ Guess the Score competition and take home a case of twenty-four 440ml cans of Thatchers Gold or Thatchers Zero. All you need to do is correctly predict Surrey’s score, or be the closest to it, in a home Vitality T20 Blast match at the Kia Oval.
The competition will run ahead of every women’s and men’s Vitality T20 Blast match at the Kia Oval, with entry open for 24 hours ahead of the match and the competition will close when the first ball is bowled in that respective match.

Facilities
Toilets are located all around the perimeter of the ground, with baby changing facilities located behind Block 1, 13 and 19 of the JM Finn Stand. For more information, please refer to our ground map.
First Aid
First aid services are provided on-site at every match day at The Kia Oval. If you require first aid assistance whilst at the ground, please contact your nearest steward or go to one of our first aid centres located behind Block A of the JM Finn Stand and between Entrance 32 and 33 of the Bedser Stand.
Scorecards
As per last season, a limited number of scorecards will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from the Long Room in the Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion. Scorecards will not be available from Pavilion Reception.
Paper scorecards will only be available for Rothesay County Championship and Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures. An updated scorecard will be available to download online for Vitality Blast fixtures after the match has been completed.
Digital scorecards will be available to download for every domestic home fixture.
