Match Day Guide: The Hundred

The Kia Oval is easily accessible via several modes of transport and is within easy walking distance from a number of Tube stations.

BY CAR

No matchday parking is available at, or in the vicinity, of the ground and we advise all fans to use public transport.

BY NATIONAL RAIL

The Kia Oval is located just a six-minute walk from Vauxhall station, served by South Western Railway trains coming in and out of Waterloo.

BY LONDON UNDERGROUND

Vauxhall Underground station is on the Victoria line, with services every few minutes, and just a six-minute walk from the JM Finn Stand End of the ground. Oval and Kennington Underground stations are both on the Northern line and just a few minutes from the Pavilion End of the ground.

BY BUS

Route numbers 36, 185 and 436 stop outside the ground and the following buses stop within a five-minute walk of The Kia Oval: 3, 59, 109, 133, 159, 333. To plan your journey via Transport for London, please click here.

BY BIKE

Please note, for The Hundred, spectators cannot store their bikes in the ground.

Please note that all bikes are left at spectators’ own risk.

There are multiple Santander bike docking stations located close to the stadium. Additionally, there are bicycle stands to secure your own bicycles in the surrounding areas. Spectators are advised to bring their own locks to ensure the safety of their bicycles.

For around 1.5 hours before and after the men’s match, bus stops outside Oval Station and Archbishop Tenison’s School will be suspended.

Vauxhall Bus Station and Kennington Park Post Office will be the nearest functioning bus stops during the road closure.

The Kia Oval features a wide selection of freshly prepared food offers from many of the UK’s leading street food concessions.

On any match day, we have a minimum of 20 different concessions spread around the ground ensuring all customers have variety near their seats regardless of which stand they are seated.

All ingredients are both responsibly sourced and sustainably prepared and the menus are designed to ensure our diverse audience are catered for regardless of their dietary desires including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options throughout. Family and kids’ meals are also available at most concessions as well, including dessert specials like Churros and Waffle Cones.

Over 25 bars offer a full selection of beers, wines, and soft drinks around the ground, with both non-alcoholic lager and ale available in many of the locations. Dedicated Fever Tree and Nicholson Cocktail bars are also located across the concourse to offer some variety if you’re after something different.

Please note that the Kia Oval is a cashless venue and only card payment will be taken.

Fans are not permitted to bring their own alcoholic drinks into the ground, although food is permitted. No metal cutlery or glass will be allowed into the ground.

There are several water fountains located around the ground where refillable bottles can be filled up for free.

MEMBERS’ AREAS

Members’ seating remains unreserved at the Kia Oval for The Hundred match days. Members are permitted to sit anywhere within Members’ Areas, which include the Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion, Laker Balcony, Lock Balcony, and Peter May Garden (from Row 23-36). All areas are subject to availability and you may be directed to other Members’ Areas should an area reach capacity.

If seats are covered with a purple accessibility bib, please do not move them as these seats have specifically been reserved for Members with accessible needs. Should you wish to sit in these seats, please speak to one of our Accessibility team, or come to the Pavilion Reception and speak to a member of staff.

Members are reminded not to leave their bags unattended.

SURREY MEMBERS, EXCLUDING CHAMPIONSHIP MEMBERS, CAN ACCESS THE HUNDRED

Surrey Members with The Hundred included in their Membership package (every category except Championship), can scan into the ground using their Membership card to watch The Hundred.

General admission tickets for this match are sold out, and we’re expecting the Members’ areas to be very busy. Please arrive at the ground early to secure your spot!

BAG & PAT-DOWN SEARCH UPON ENTRY

Please note, there will be heightened security in place for this match day. Spectators are advised to be prepared for bag searches for all and pat-down searches at random upon entry to the ground.

SENSORY AREA

The Sensory Rooms at Surrey County Cricket Club offer a calming and therapeutic space for visitors with sensory needs.

Children’s sensory area is available in Bedser Suite 9. If you would like to book the sensory room, please complete the booking form before the game.

If you have not booked in advance and need to use the room on the day of the game, please visit the Pavilion Reception and a member of staff will assist you.

Due to limited space, we may not always be able to accommodate you in the sensory room.

Please note that the sensory room is unsupervised.

PYROTECHNICS

Pyrotechnics are deployed for The Hundred fixtures, and may feature bright lights and smoke.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has implemented a ban on the importation of alcohol and glass containers. Following close consultation with the Police and Health and Safety advisors, alcohol will not be permitted on The Hundred match-days.

Supporters are also welcome to bring food into the ground on match-days.

Lifesaver: If you are running out of charge, look out for Lifesaver power banks as there are multiple charging locations around the venue to charge your device.
