Surrey will be travelling to the East Midlands to face Derbyshire for a Men’s Metro Bank One Day Cup fixture.
SQUAD
Surrey have added three players to their Metro Bank One Day Cup squad after injuries to Cam Steel and Alex French.
Surrey have signed Sussex bowler Ari Karvelas on loan for the remainder of the Metro Bank One Day Cup. The seamer will be available for selection for tomorrow’s fixture against Derbyshire as well as the trips to play Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire.
Surrey Academy batter Ollie Hunt joins the squad for the rest of the competition. Hunt has more than 800 runs for the Surrey U18s this year.
Former Surrey Academy fast-bowler Luke Griffiths will also join up with the squad replacing Alex French who will miss the rest of the competition due to a side injury. Griffiths represented Surrey in the 2023 One Day Cup, playing five times.
Cameron Steel has been ruled out of the remainder of the competition due to a recurring ankle injury.
Steel and French join Dom Sibley, Ryan Patel, Matt Fisher, Tommy Ealham, Seb Stuart-Reckling and Matt Dunn on the sidelines with injuries.
