Surrey County Cricket Club have launched a new campaign to engage with younger audiences and to help build a strong connection with the history of the game and the power of the sport.
The campaign will build on something cricket fans already know: it’s not just sport, it’s art.
Surrey CCC and the Surrey Cricket Foundation are challenging young people to recreate iconic photos from the history of Surrey and of cricket at The Kia Oval as art for the chance to win some brilliant prizes.
Young people will be able to choose from a collection of remarkable moments and inspiring individuals. Categories will include Surrey Today, Surrey Legends and Internationals at The Kia Oval post-2000.
The photos to choose from to recreate as your artwork can be found in these links:

The competition is open to young people up to the age of 16, and to enter, all they need to do is submit a scan/photo of their artwork alongside a few words about themselves, why they chose their selected picture and, most importantly, tell us why they love cricket!
