Skilful with the gloves and the bat, King offers versatility and depth to the Surrey squad.

Rachel King signed her first full-time rookie contract with Surrey right after the 2025 season, having initially been with the squad on a temporary basis.

King made her T20 debut for the Three Feathers, opening the batting against Essex in a Kia Oval thriller and was a part of the squad as Surrey made history in 2025, lifting the inaugural Women’s Vitality Blast trophy.

With the bat, King is a versatile option with experience facing off against the new ball as well as offering a powerful middle-order option. She is also a reliable wicketkeeping option, known for her quick hands behind the stumps. She has represented Sussex in Tier 2 cricket to further bolster her playing experience.
