Surrey signed a full-time professional contract after impressing in the 2022 Royal London One-Day Cup.
The left arm spinner was initially given a short-term contract for the duration of the 2022 Royal London One-Day Cup. Majid impressed, taking 9 wickets in 8 match at an economy rate of 5.57 runs per over. In September 2022, it was announced that Majid had signed a full-time professional contract at Surrey.
Majid started his cricket journey in the Berkshire pathway, before switching to Surrey at under 16 level while attending Cranleigh School.
Majid plays his club club cricket for Chesham Club Cricket in Buckinghamshire.
