Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the 2020 One-Day International at The Kia Oval
The 2020 One-Day International at The Kia Oval between England and Ireland will now not take place at The Kia Oval this summer.
All 2020 One-Day International ticket purchasers have been contacted via email, and can claim a refund or transfer their tickets over to the 2021 One-Day International at The Kia Oval, between England and Sri Lanka, for no extra cost.

I have tickets for the 2020 One-Day International and I want these to be transferred to the 2021 One-Day International. What do I need to do?
You do not need to do anything. Your 2020 One-Day International tickets will be transferred to the 2021 One-Day International. If you selected to receive eTickets, these will be emailed to you nearer the time, or your tickets will be updated in the TX.IS app. If you selected printed tickets, these will be distributed to you approximately six weeks prior to the 2021 One-Day International.
I am a Surrey and England Member, but I did not purchase my seat for the 2020 One-Day International. Can I sit in my seat for the 2021 One-Day International?
You will be able to purchase your seat for the 2021 One-Day International regardless if someone has purchased your seat for the 2020 One-Day International. Please be assured that you will be able to sit in your Surrey and England seat for the 2021 One-Day International.
I am a County/T20/County 16-25/Championship Member that purchased a seat in the Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion for the 2020 One-Day International. Will I be moved to a seat outside of the Pavilion?
If you have purchased a seat that belongs to a Surrey and England Member then yes, your seat for the 2021 One-Day International will be moved. However, our Members and Supporter Services team will do their best to provide you with a seat as close as possible to the one you purchased and of the same value, or higher.
I am a Surrey and England Member with a seat in the Pavilion/Bedser/Peter May/1845 Stand. I want to move my seat in to the new development for the 2021 season, including the One-Day International. How do I do this?
The new development at The Kia Oval will be complete for the 2021 One-Day International. You will be able to move your Surrey and England Membership into the new development later this year and your 2021 International tickets will be within the new development. We will be in touch via email to provide full details of this and arrange for you to view the new seats if you wish to do so. Full details will also be provided in your Membership Renewal Pack later this year.
I only purchased a portion of my One-Day International allocation of tickets that I am allowed as part of my Membership category. Can I purchase more at a later date?
Yes. As a 2020 Member of Surrey County Cricket Club, you will be able to purchase further tickets for the 2021 One-Day International at a later date. We will contact you directly via email nearer this date. Tickets will be available at the same price as your 2020 One-Day International tickets.
I am a Member, but I did not buy any tickets for the 2020 Internationals. When will I be able to buy tickets for the 2021 Internationals?
All 2020 Members will be able to purchase 2021 International tickets later this summer. We will contact all Members via email prior to this date providing full details as to how you can secure 2021 International tickets.
What will be the cost of purchasing additional tickets for the 2021 One-Day Internationals at a later date, as part of my Membership allocation?
Ticket prices for the 2021 One-Day International will be available for you to purchase at the same price as the 2020 One-Day International.
I want to upgrade my Membership for next year to a category that includes a greater allocation of One-Day International tickets. Can I purchase more tickets for the 2021 One-Day International as part of my higher category Membership?
Yes, you will be able to do so. Please contact our Member and Supporter Services Team on tickets@surreycricket.com to discuss upgrading your Membership for the 2021 season.
I purchased all tickets within my Membership category allocation for the 2020 One-Day International. Will there be an opportunity for Members to purchase more tickets for the 2021 One-Day International?
All 2020 Members of Surrey County Cricket Club will receive am increase in the number of tickets they can purchase for the 2021 One-Day International, as a benefit for being a Member with us this year. Please keep an eye on your emails for further ticketing updates from The Kia Oval.
On what date will the Test Match and ODI take place at The Kia Oval in 2021?
We hope to have confirmation from the ECB on 2021 match dates later in the summer.
If – once the 2021 One-Day International dates have been confirmed- I cannot attend. Will I be given a refund?
Yes. If you cannot make the dates for the 2021 One-Day International then you will be able to claim a refund. Once the ECB have announced the dates for our 2021 One-Day International ticket purchasers will have 28 days to notify us that they would like a refund. After this, a refund is not guaranteed.
I have a number of tickets for the 2020 One-Day International and I only want to transfer some of these tickets to 2021. What do I need to do to get a partial refund?
If you would like a partial refund for your 2020 One-Day International tickets, please contact our Member and Supporter Services team on tickets@surreycricket.com by Monday 20th July.
Will my tickets be in the same seat for the 2021 One-Day International as for the 2020 One-Day International?
Yes. All 2020 One-Day International tickets will be transferred to the same seats for the 2021 One-Day International. There will be an opportunity for Members to purchase additional tickets in other areas of the ground, if inventory allows, later this summer.
I was a Member in the Peter May Stand prior to 2020 and had been relocated for the season due to the ongoing development work at The Kia Oval. Where will my seat be allocated for the 2021 One-Day International?
Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we temporarily moved your Surrey and England seat due to the new stand construction at The Kia Oval. Our Member and Supporter Services team are contacting all Members that were affected by the development to give them an opportunity to select a new seat, with priority in the new stand. Please ensure that your phone number and email address associated with your Membership is correct so that our team can contact you accordingly.
I want a full refund on my tickets for the 2020 One-Day International. How can I claim a refund?
Please visit this site to claim a full refund on your 2020 One-Day International tickets from 6th July. The deadline for submitting a refund claim is Monday 20th July. Refunds will then be made a maximum of seven working days after you have submitted your refund request.

All ticket purchasers and Members have been emailed with full details of the refund process for 2020 One-Day International via the email address associated with their ticketing account. If you have not received an email, please contact our Member and Supporter Services team on tickets@surreycricket.com and our Member and Supporter Services team will be able to look into why you have not received an email.
I have tickets listed on The Kia Oval’s ticket exchange platform. What will happen to these tickets?
These tickets will rollover to the 2021 One-Day International, and if you would like to attend the England v Sri Lanka One-Day International next summer, we advise you remove these tickets from the Ticket Exchange platform. If you are unable to attend the 2021 One-Day International, please remove your tickets from the Ticket Exchange platform and we will provide you with a full refund. Please contact our Member and Supporter Services team to action this on tickets@surreycricket.com.
I purchased a 2020 Membership as I wanted access to 2020 One-Day International tickets. I want a refund on the tickets and also want to cancel my Membership. How do I do this?
If you would like a refund for your 2020 One-Day International tickets, please fill out this form before Monday 20th July. 2020 Members of the Club will receive many benefits if they remain as Members into 2021 to thank them for their loyalty and support in such a difficult year. If you would like to enjoy these benefits, we advise that you remain as a Member throughout 2020. A decision on Membership refunds will be made later in the year when it is clearer what cricket will be played in 2020. However, if you would still like to cancel your Membership, then please contact tickets@surreycricket.com.
I am a Gold Debenture Member. Where will my seats be for the 2021 One-Day International?
If you have bought your own Debenture seats and would like to transfer these to the 2021 One-Day International, then you do not need to do anything and your seats will remain the same for next year’s One-Day International. If you have purchased additional tickets in this area, on top of your own Debenture seats, we will contact you in July on the location of these seats as they are subject to availability in this area. If you would like a full refund, please fill out this form before Monday 20th July.
