2025 has set a new 21st century record attendance for the Kia Oval in the Rothesay County Championship with 80,484 spectators coming to watch Rory Burns and his side battle for the title this year.
The 2025 figure surpasses last year where 65,433 fans turned up to watch Surrey secure a third consecutive title.
Surrey also set a new record for the number of Members this year with more than 20,500 Members, over 1,500 of those choosing a ‘Championship’ Membership – which grants access to home County Championship and Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures – the highest number ever.
This year’s Festival of Red Ball Cricket against Essex saw a record attendance for a single game with 14,982 fans turning up.
Four of the seven fixtures this year have seen more than 10,000 spectators coming along to watch Surrey.
The season has seen some outstanding games of cricket including dominant victories for the Three Feathers over Somerset and Yorkshire as well as a thrilling draw against Essex on day four as Surrey defied the opposition bowlers.
