The Kia Oval will welcome New Zealand for a men’s Test Match and Sri Lanka for a men’s ODI in another summer of world-class cricket next year as England’s 2026 international home fixtures are announced.
Alongside the two action-packed men’s fixtures, the People’s Home of Cricket will take centre stage for both the semi-finals (Tuesday 30 June & Thursday 2 July) of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as well as England’s last group game against defending champions New Zealand (Saturday 27 June).
Ahead of the Women’s World Cup in the bumper month of June, Ben Stokes’ Bazballers will come to Kennington to play the Black Caps in a Rothesay Test Match (Wednesday 17 – Sunday 21 June). It is promising to be a very special occasion as the Kia Oval will welcome New Zealand’s men’s Test team for the first time in 27 years.
The curtain will fall on the international home summer at the Kia Oval when the Three Lions face Sri Lanka in the final Metro Bank ODI of the series (Sunday 27 September). The previous time these two teams met in south London for an ODI, Surrey’s Sam Curran clinched his first international five-for and Jason Roy helped ace the chase with a quick-fire fifty.

England’s 2026 home summer
England men and women will host five international teams across all formats in a bumper 2026.
The summer will also see the country host the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 on home soil from 12 June to 15 July, bringing the global spotlight to women’s cricket.
Ben Stokes’ team will welcome New Zealand and Pakistan in two Rothesay Test series, while Harry Brook’s white-ball side will face India and Sri Lanka in Metro Bank ODIs and Vitality IT20s.
Meanwhile, either side of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Nat Sciver-Brunt will lead England women in a packed home schedule featuring New Zealand, India and Ireland, including a Rothesay Test match against India at Lord’s.
International disability fixtures will be announced in due course, with the England Men’s Mixed Disability team recently trialling mixed disability cricket at international level.

And just after that, we’re thrilled that Lord’s will also host an England Women’s Test match for the first time, marking a really special period of time for the women’s game.
