Surrey have named their 2nd XI squad to face Sussex in a four-day 2nd XI Championship fixture at Hove, starting on Tuesday 4th May.

Nine professionals will feature in the fixture with Ben Geddes to play his first match for the Club since signing professional terms. He will be joined in the team by Matt Dunn, Laurie Evans, Will Jacks, Nicholas Kimber, Conor McKerr, Daniel Moriarty, Ryan Patel & James Taylor.

In addition to those, batter Justin Broad and wicket keeper Billy Mead will play. Academy talents George Ealham & Yousef Majid will play the third and fourth days with Will Jacks and Daniel Moriarty expected to travel to Leicester to join the first team.

Surrey are looking for their first victory in the competition after one defeat and one draw against Essex and Yorkshire respectively.
