Dominic Sibley has signed for Surrey CCC. Sibley left Surrey in 2017 to join Warwickshire but will return to The Kia Oval for the start of the 2023 season.
Born in Epsom, Sibley developed through the Surrey age group and Academy, representing the Club from the Under 9s all the way up to the First XI, making his Surrey CCC debut at 18 years old. In 2013, he became the youngest double centurion in County Championship history, scoring 242 against Yorkshire at The Kia Oval aged just 18 years and 21 days.
Whilst at Warwickshire, Sibley made his England Test Match debut against New Zealand in 2019. Sibley has scored 1042 Test runs with two hundreds which came against South Africa and the West Indies. Sibley has scored 17 centuries in 108 first-class matches including three double-hundreds.

I made no secret at the time that I didn’t want him to leave but the move to Warwickshire worked out well for him as he earned England selection. I truly believe his best years are still ahead of him and his proven run scoring ability will add even more strength to our current group of players. I look forward to watching him score big runs again in a Surrey shirt and it’s great for the Club to have “one of our own” back with us at the Kia Oval.”
