Surrey trio Gus Atkinson, Sam Curran and Will Jacks have been selected in England’s 16-player squad for the upcoming ODI series with India
Atkinson returns to an England white-ball squad for the first time since the tour to India in February 2025. Curran and Jacks will remain with England as both are also involved in the current five-match IT20 series with the same opposition.
Should Surrey qualify, all three players will be unavailable for the final stages of the Vitality Blast.
Uncapped Sussex all-rounder James Coles is included in a squad that also includes Josh Tongue, who is yet to make his ODI debut. Lancashire seamer Saqib Mahmood also returns to the squad. The three-match series begins at Edgbaston on Tuesday 14 July before matches at Sophia Gardens and Lord’s.
