Surrey Head Coach Gareth Batty will be joining up with the Oval Invincibles as an Assistant Coach for The Hundred.

Under the leadership of experienced Head Coach Tom Moody, the Oval Invincibles cricket coaching team is completed by Jim Troughton, Matt Walker and Chris Silverwood.

Batty will continue to support the Surrey CCC side in their Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign around his time with the Oval Invincibles.

Alongside Matt Spriegel and Jack Brooks, Alec Stewart will join the Surrey men’s side as part of the management group for the duration of the 2025 Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign.

Surrey Assistant Coach Jade Dernbach will once again join up with the London Spirit in The Hundred, working under Justin Langer.

Surrey will play four home Metro Bank One Day Cup matches, starting with the visit of Leicestershire at Woodbridge Road, Guildford on Wednesday 6 August. Gloucestershire visit Guildford two days later on Friday, 8 August.

Glamorgan visit the Kia Oval on Wednesday, 13 August, before the home campaign finishes on Monday, 18 August against Hampshire at the Kia Oval.

Surrey head to Chelmsford to face Essex on Friday, 15 August, before the trip to Derbyshire on Friday, 22 August. The Three Feathers will stay in the East Midlands to face Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge on Sunday, 24 August, before finishing the group stages with a trip to New Road, Worcester, on Tuesday, 26 August.
