Ben Geddes has joined Kent on loan for the LV=Insurance County Championship fixture against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
The Surrey Academy graduate made his First-Class debut in 2021 and scored a first century in the County Championship at The Kia Oval against Kent in June last year. He averages 42 in the six First-Class games he has played for Surrey with two centuries. Geddes also captained Surrey in the One Day Cup in 2022, leading a youthful side.
For Surrey Second XI this year, Geddes has scored 561 runs at an average of 51.5 including three centuries. The loan move gives Ben the opportunity to play First XI cricket, gaining valuable playing time in the top division.
