One-of-a-kind signed Surrey and Middlesex caps have gone on sale today, in aid of Matt Dunn’s fundraising for Dravet Syndrome UK.

Bid on the caps here.

The special commemorative caps were worn by players from both sides during the LV=Insurance County Championship match between Surrey and Middlesex at The Kia Oval, 11-14 May, which was dedicated to the memory of Florence Dunn.

The caps are signed across the brim and features either the prestigious Surrey Three Feathers or Middlesex Seaxes badge on the front of the cap; match details on the side of the cap; and the Dravet Syndrome UK charity logo on the back.

Before the match, players from both sides lined for a joint photo with Matt sitting in the centre of the group, next to skippers Rory Burns and Toby Roland Jones. Then, before the start of the afternoon session, Matt was presented with the signed caps of Burns and Roland-Jones by the two captains in front of the Micky Stewart Members’ Pavilion.

Matt had arrived at the ground having led a group of 30 runners from Lord’s as part of the ‘every day in May for Dravet’ running challenge that Matt, his wife Jessica and members of the family are taking part in to raise funds as well as awareness of Dravet Syndrome.

Caps signed by every member of both squads, as well as by Surrey coaching staff Alec Stewart, Gareth Batty, Azhar Mahmood and Jim Troughton are being auctioned. They are now available to bid on until Saturday 27 May and all proceeds will go towards the Dunn’s fundraising page for Dravet Syndrome UK (Charity number: 1128289).
